Who knew what started as an outbreak of a lesser-known virus would make its impact so prominent in our lives and unite the citizens of the world in their suffering?
COVID 19 was classified as a Pandemic in 2020 and it has impacted lives as well as the livelihood of millions.
The year 2020 was declared as “The Worst Year Ever” by TIME Magazine not just because it broke families apart, took lives of millions, and practically swept across the globe, shut down businesses, schools, universities, social unrest, and whatnot. It brought misery in a sense that wasn’t experienced by the modern-day world or even a wee bit of preparedness with people losing jobs and depression spiking.
For more than 18 months, people were locked down in their houses, masks became a new life reality post-COVID and time came to a standstill. But as they say, every black cloud has a silver lining and we at Bug Hunters have definitely not just survived but rather thrived in this pandemic in terms of business, growth, and attaining our goals.
To summarize these hard-hitting years
We at Bug Hunters too were hit by the pandemic and initially, it took us some time to fathom what really happened and to grasp the harsh reality but after the initial shock, we took some time to reflect as to how we wanted to perceive it and how strongly we want to emerge out of it.
Branching out Offshore
We are very pleased to announce that we have expanded as an organization by opening a new branch in Vancouver, Canada is led currently by one of our team leads.
The idea here is to have a wider footprint across the globe and be more inclusive in terms of market presence and utilizing our expertise across different domains.
We are actively working on further expansion worldwide and building a strong presence offshore and having a tight team of wonderful people from across the globe.
We have not only retained our existing clients in these difficult times but had a growth rate of more than 30% during the pandemic. We have joined hands with clients in various sectors like – Software as a Service (SaaS), Business-to-Business Service (B2B). Also, we have significantly increased our presence in the eCommerce and Healthcare industries and are trying to wrap around as many sectors as we can in terms of market presence.
Onboarding new Resources
We take immense pride in saying that not only we did not have any layoffs during the pandemic, rather we opened up so many new career opportunities and positions within the organization and have actively recruited fresher as well as experienced professionals with a whopping 50% increase in hiring rate.

What’s in store for 2022?
Having shown growth in the worst-hit times has not only filled us with gratitude but also has our spirits soaring high and feel confident. We are energized and look forward to delivering a power-packed year with outstanding performances. Hence, we have set for ourselves a new set of goals that we want to accomplish in this financial year.
- We would be increasing budgets for Marketing, HR, and Accounting.
- We want to continue hiring and onboarding new resources, extend our Bug Hunters family and have a stronger and visionary Research & Development Team.
- The plans for further expansion are still in the pipeline with us aiming to not only branch out further Pan India but also mark our territory in newer avenues across the globe and stabilize our offshore branches.
